Cookies and storage
Last updated: 08/10/2026
This is an English translation for information only. The Spanish version is the one that applies.
1. In a few lines
- Bildeit uses a single cookie, for the language you choose, and the browser's local storage (
localStorageandsessionStorage) only so that the website and the panel work. - No analytics, no advertising, no pixels and nothing that follows you across other websites.
- Everything is stored by Bildeit, from bildeit.com. The website and the panel do not load scripts, stylesheets or fonts from other domains.
Why we tell you about everything, not just cookies: article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and the AEPD cookie guide apply to «any type of data storage and retrieval device» on your equipment, and that includes local storage. That is why the table below lists everything.
2. What is stored in your browser
This list comes from reviewing the code of the website and the panel on 08/10/2026. The Spanish version uses the same keys.
| Name | Type and where | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
bildeit-idioma | Cookie and localStorage · website and panel | To remember the language you choose (also when you close the «Ver esta página en español» notice) | One year |
bildeit-sesion, bildeit-sesion-demo | localStorage · panel | To keep you logged into your account, or into the demo | Until you log out |
bildeit-demo | sessionStorage · panel | To know you are in the demo and not in your account | Until you close the tab |
bildeit-empresa | localStorage · panel | Which company you had open, if you run several | Until you delete it |
bildeit-menu-plegado, bildeit-menu-grupos | localStorage · panel | How you left the menu | Until you delete it |
bildeit-periodo:… | localStorage · panel | The date range you chose on each screen | Until you delete it |
bildeit-intro | sessionStorage · website | So the logo intro only shows the first time | Until you close the tab |
bildeit-barra | sessionStorage · website | So the bottom bar does not come back once you close it | Until you close the tab |
To know which language your browser prefers, the website reads the header the browser itself sends on every visit (Accept-Language). It is not stored anywhere and your IP address is not used.
Law: article 22.2 of the LSSI (clear and complete information about what is stored and why).
3. Why there is no cookie banner
The general rule of article 22.2 of the LSSI is to ask for consent. The same law makes an exception for what is «strictly necessary to provide an information society service expressly requested by the recipient». Everything Bildeit stores falls under that:
- Session and access (
bildeit-sesion,bildeit-sesion-demo,bildeit-demo,bildeit-empresa): without them you cannot get into your account or the demo. The AEPD guide lists user authentication or identification and security as exempt. The session lasts until you log out, not just while the tab is open: it relies on the general exception of article 22.2, because staying logged in is what you ask for when you sign in. - Language (
bildeit-idioma): the AEPD guide says the cookie for the language the user chooses is exempt because it is a service the user expressly asks for. - Menu, date range and closed bars (
bildeit-menu-…,bildeit-periodo:…,bildeit-barra,bildeit-intro): these personalise the interface the way you choose, which the guide also lists as exempt.
It is all technical or a preference of yours. There is no analytics, no advertising and nothing to authorise. That is why there is no cookie banner and we do not ask for permission.
Laws: article 22.2, second paragraph, of the LSSI (exception for what is strictly necessary) and the AEPD «Guide on the use of cookies», checked on 08/10/2026.
If this changes
If Bildeit ever added something that is not exempt, such as an analytics tool, it would first change this page and ask for your permission. You could refuse it in the same layer, at the same level and as easily as accepting it, and withdraw it later just as easily, as the AEPD guide requires.
4. How to delete it
From your browser settings, by clearing the data for the site bildeit.com. Logging out deletes the session keys; preferences such as the language stay until you delete them. If you delete the session, you will have to log in again; if you delete the language, the website goes back to your browser's.
